BMI offers various weight restrictions across all their flight classes although BMI does have a few rules to follow when taking your baggage in for check-in. The first is that you should be able to lift any hand luggage you have in to the overhead locker above your seat. The second is that you are not allowed to take more than one piece of hand luggage no matter how many pieces of check- in luggage you have. | Premium Economy | You are allowed to up to 40kg with no limitations to how many pieces of luggage you can take. You are also allowed to take 1 piece of hand luggage. |
| Business | You are allowed to up to 30kg with no limitations to how many pieces of luggage you can take. You area also allowed to take 2 piece of hand luggage. If travelling to Freetown you are allowed to take 50kg in total, whereas for Cairo, Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam you are limited to 40kg. |
| BMI Gold, Silver, Diamond and Star Alliance Gold | If you are on a membership plan with BMI or Star Alliance you can gain an extra 20kg on top of your normal allowance. |
